I'm not going to vote for anyone until some games have been played - it's ridiculous, we are moving in on week 2 of the College Football season and your asking me to make a vote for coach of the year. Shows how unofficial of a poll this is, for starters you can vote more than once and for seconds you can vote for a coach before a game has even been played. Don't tell me about all that has been done in the off season, I've acknowledged how far this program has come over and over again and Trent is probably most important in keeping the program afloat - but again this is a coach of the year award, not what you've done over the past 3 season... Coach of the year for what? His team hasn't won a game this year, basically by voting your suggesting that he's coach of the year even if the Sycamores finish below .500. Thanks to him the standard is greater than that around here, we expect much more and so does your former coach...
It's like opening MLB All Star ballots or Pro Bowl ballots to fans before the season even starts - it totally takes the credibility out of the honor. So vote away, I will wait until he proves worthy of the honor for the 2011 season.
Heck your stacking the deck the way it is, pumping in multiple votes for someone on your own behalf - well done you've figured out to cheat the system. With that said, really? really? Is it worth that much to you? Is that the way to show your appreciation for a job well done?]
BTW, I love what Trent has done for Indiana State football - it's exceptional! He's done an outstanding job!
