Like father, like son: Western Michigan assistant coach Mike Sabock, who previously served as an assistant coach at Northern Illinois for 24 years, has recruited the Chicago area for many years. He recently has seen a familiar face on the recruiting trail.

Danny Sabock, his son who graduated from Sycamore and Elmhurst College, is a first-year outside linebackers coach for Indiana State. He's recruiting the same area as his dad.

Sycamore High School (northwest of Chicago) and Elmhurst College (a DIII school in west suburban Chicago). His father had some very good recruiting contacts in the Chicago area, and I hope we keep going to the schools that have developed some good Sycamore players (Gates, Burke, Sewall...) in the last several years.
