My quote was to the point that people or at least I don't normally think of VU being bigger than ISU let alone by that much. IVY Tech is a different beast. Most of their people are there to take one or two classes to transfer them. Then they have more One Semester Wonders than any other school that inflates their enrollment first semester every year.

I had the good fortune to have served on 2 search committees at ISU. The last one was for President. It's an interesting process and might be different today. The committee was composed of alumni, (I represented the Alumni Board), faculty, Dean and non-alumni of note from within the state. The committee members were very accomplished individuals. The process was thorough and conducted in complete secrecy. The candidate's interviews were held in Indianapolis at an undisclosed location. The committee was charged with recommending finalists for the position. The ultimate decision was up to the Board of Trustees.

I don't get it. I truly don't get it. What she has done for the university and more specifically the last 2 months is unforgivable. How does she keep getting awards and recognitions? Its apparent that nobody can stand her, whether is employees, fans, alumni, insiders, outsiders, etc. Her PR team is the best in the business, that's for sure

Wasn’t it a bidding situation weeks in advance? Clink and Curtis had plenty of time before submitting the bid to host the Supers was due to tell him “yes, you are doing this and that’s final. Start rounding up volunteers now and finding hotels just in case we make Super Regionals because we’re bidding”

I believe he refers to the 12M budget cuts as mentioned months ago by the Trib Star, IBJ and even the Indiana Statesman. Hopefully they can stop the enrollment bleeding so there isn’t a need to cut more.
