NIU has been off since 11/27 when they lost to Northwestern, 89-67. Their leading scorer, Coit is the dude that dropped 19 on us when they came into the Haute and won. They have a very long and athletic team and have only lost to Northwestern and Marquette. The kid that got hot and had like 30 is still recovering from an ACL injury and has not played this year.

NIU is the real-deal. This has trap game written all over it, especially after a big conference win that took, I’m sure, a lot of preparation and emotion.

I take the run Bradley made at us as a positive. We bowed our backs and withstood it and came out with the "W"...it keeps you honest. Winning big in a blowout makes it hard to avoid over-confidence. Let's go Hammer the Huskies.

I agree. On the road against the defending champs and you took a punch in the mouth and did enough to win.
We can play with anyone on the planet if we're hitting shots. We can win in anyone's barn if we're hitting shots. All our guys need to do is go out and execute.

Looks like they did a half off sale for tickets and will be honoring their football squad at halftime. Looks like they averaged about 1100 people their first three home games so it could be a morgue in the place if their promos didn't work.

I’m buying a whole section
This game was a complete dud from us last year. I'd love to return the favor and win by 20+. They have a solid team this year so it would be a nice road win to have in our pocket
I agree. Last year I recall the game got moved up a day and was played at like 11AM. No excuses but it was an odd game.

I can't find anything definitive on this, but is NET updated on a daily basis now moving forward or just weekly? So like if some of the teams above fall out before our game, NIU could sneak in to the Top 75, for example.

No matter what happens, you can rest assured that the NCAA will tinker with the "secret" NET formula to provide more cover for the P6. Remember when RPI was the best thing ever, and then we got 4 teams in the NCAA tournament (2 in the Sweet Sixteen) and somehow we "gamed the system?" Bunch of jokers...
Can someone pull the defensive metrics for NIU up really quickly? This looks like another high scoring affair... The pace should fit our style of play pretty well. Hope we can get a first half Bradley and SIU entire game level of effort on the defensive side of the ball.
