Indiana State junior guard Devonte Brown (Killeen Texas/Ellison HS) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Player Of The Week following his efforts in victories over Missouri State and Southern Illinois. The Sycamores are 8-8 overall and a perfect 4-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play just the fourth time in the history of the program.

Listened to an older Neil Young song(titled Downtown) off and on all day in honor of Devonte! Downtown is a lot better than what some wanted to nick name him about couple of weeks ago!

WOW, Sycamore fans... where I'm from we congratulate teams & it's players accomplishments... We all know that Brown has to make better decisions w/ the rock. But I think he makes up for his mistakes on the other end of the floor. :angel:

Yes, and that is why someone started this thread....and along the way, fans wanna-have-fun-too.
