Drink Blue Sycamore's In Support of the Sycamores This Weekend

For those that are to much of a man to drink mixed drinks, hand your man card over for a second in support of the Sycamores and order a Blue Sycamore this weekend.

Blue Sycamore is a mixed drink that was created at the Copper Bar in Terre Haute by myself and 3 other former track teammates at Indiana State. It's a pretty fun drunk - NOT A SHOT make sure that you let bartenders know it's to be made as a drink on the rocks.

Ingredients for a Blue Sycamore:

Blue Curacao (The Blue part of the drink)
Malibu
Absolute Vodka
Sprite
Red Bull

In Terre Haute it will cost you about $4, in St. Louis will probably cost you about $6 - it's worth a try if you are of the drinking crowd. If not order one for a friend.

just because I have to question...

what would you suggest, since you created it, that be used instead of Malibu. Malibu is quite possibly the most discusting drink ever created and even the smell of it makes me want to vomit. Just leave it out or replace it??

Yeah I don't disagree with you - I mean you could tell them to hold the Malibu if you don't like that and it will still be a good drink. I am not really a bar tender so I'd hate to start guessing, we just tried about 3 or 4 different combos that evening and this is the one we settled on...

You could maybe replace it with something like Midori Melon, give that a shot but if it's to much the drink will be green insted of blue so I don't know... The whole point in the drink is drinking something blue that goes down way to easy. lol I mean you could just order an AMF but what fun would that be, we wanted a drink called the BS aka Blue Sycamore

Sorry....By virtue of personal experience and viewing others who've been under the influence, I have to say that vodka in any form is no one's friend.

I'll show my support, as always, by enjoying a quality microbrew from my Sycamores pint glass. :cheers:

I am betting that just some bacardi or even splash of capt would work too

You wouldn't want to use Captain. It's got spice in it. But like a clear Bacardi would probably be a good substitute.
