Number 5 was Iona and Wichita comes in at number 3. Potential opponent Harvard was number 2. Not sure I agree with us being behind Iona with them losing mo mo jones but around 5th seems right.

6. Greg Lansing's Sycamores should be the primary competition to Wichita State for Missouri Valley supremacy now that Creighton has departed the league. Lansing has a terrific veteran guard/leader returning in senior Jake Odum, plus three other starters: seniors Manny Arop (12 PPG, 5.1 RPG) and Dawon Cummings (6.4 PPG), and junior big man Justin Gant (7.5 PPG). The final starting spot to replace R.J. Mahurin likely will come down to 6-10 junior Jake Kitchell or skilled junior college transfer Demetrius Moore.

Wasn't this behind a pay wall? Hope Jason has a good attorney.

Awesome thanks for posting! Looking forward to seeing what the Moore kid brings to the table, still haven't heard much about him. Kitch is going to have to become a different player this year - he is going to get a chance to make a name for himself.

Maybe it's because I'm rooting for the kid, but I thought Kitch was very "active" when he was in last year and his stats "per minute" were pretty good. Being a half-step slow on D and rebounding might be his weakest point.
The article mentioned 6 players. I'm expecting substantial and significant contributions from Brown, Cummings, Smith and Scott.
We have the potential to be 9-10 deep.

Yeah I don't think Kitch did a bad job at all - I'm just saying that with RJ out you have to figure that Kitch is going to play a much bigger role thus the suggestion that he is going to have to be a different player for us. No longer is he a spot mins. guy that has little impact on the outcome of the game. Need him to step up big time.

I think Kitch got off to a bad start last year as a starter but once he went to the bench had a good year. Hopefully the difference is this year he will be ready for that starting role. Other than the slow foot speed thing he has the ability to be a solid starter for us. I actually thought he rebounded pretty well for being about to jump about 3 inches off the ground lol.

LOL copy and paste the source and your covered...

This is not the first time someone has posted something from Insider on this forum 317.

Actually, he's correct. If it is a for-pay article like ESPN Insider content is, you're free to summarize or pull a small snippet but you absolutely cannot copy/paste it in it's entirety.

Already have one lawsuit I'm in the middle of so I'd like to keep that to one at a time. LOL

SSOM, take that you know-it-all. Jason, posted about pay walls content not to long ago.
