Gotta Hav

The Wade Level
Well the Walter McCarty era in Evansville appears to be moving forward.

Besides the players who have left on their own, McCarty released never heard of Deady type statistics player, Solomon Hainna.

Besides releasing him, they've signed a couple of guys that couldn't be any worse, and maybe better than anyone Lansing has ever recruited. Of course, time will tell.

From my figures, Evansville still has SIX scholarships to give for the 2018 -2019 season. SIX!

If Evansville knocks it out of the park for their next six recruits like the first two, Evansville may immediately be competitive for top five finishing in the MVC....and if those damn PURPLE ACES pull a Loyola in the next 3 to 5 years while we're in our 5th, 6th or 7th losing season in a row...I am going to be so livid that I'm going to start spitting all of those nails, that I've held on to for years!

That's about the most ignorant statement EVER made on this forum.

When you come over Saturday to play cards, please bring that 1.75L bottle of Jack I left.

I know it's about half empty, but that will get us started until we open a new one.

P.S. The article said Deandre Williams, the 6' 9" kid was a 3 Star recruit by Rivals. Did you miss that part?

Since you're keeping track of the most whatever's on SP, maybe you have a list of ALL of the 3 Star Rival recruits Lansing has signed.

I know this may take some time to gather since there's been so many, but no worries....I can wait a week or two for you to pull that data together.

We've had several 3-star recruits under Lansing and a 4-star transfer in Arop.

That said, his stars were earned based on his offers. None of them ended up being actionable. I don't recall ever seeing Texas Pro AAU several years back, but he could be a steal for him. This was the only article I could find on the kid with any meat to it:

I never knew that about Arop, and I didn't know Rivals rated players outside of the USA, but it appears that they do.

Kessinger was a 3 star according to Scout
Neese a 3 star from ESPN
Clayton Hughes a 3 star on EPN and Scout
Jordan Barnes a 3 Star on ESPN

You coulda left Kessinger off the list... He’s really discredited the ratings system. Maybe this coming year he will breakout.
