Just read a nice write up about the IU scrimmage on d1baseball.com. Said both coaches and the scouts there raved about Jacob Pruitt and said he maybe the breakout guy this year. Fastball was 95-97 against IU with a great slider. Also mentioned Hayden being a break out as well. Some scouts had his fastball the other day at 99. Cutts was 90-93 and had 3 good pitches and Berghorst was 91-93 and attacked the hitters. Pottinger, Hicks and Garis hit homers. Jackson Taylor did well and Urdaneta and Diaz were solid as well.

"6-6 righty Brayden Lybarger makes it look easy for the Sycamores in the 13th, striking out the side with a 91 92 live sinker and snappy 82 83 slider. T14: Ind St 8, Illinois 2"

".@IndStBaseball continue to run out some high quality arms. Next up Jacob Pruitt faces the minimum in B6. FB touched 95, most 92. Feature pitch high spin SL/sweeper at 86 87 and into 2700s rpm. 4-1 Sycs, Top 7"
"We are playing five more, but at the end of 9- Sycs 7, Illini 2 as

"Sycs add one in T5 on a Parker Stinson HR, then tack on two more on a Grant Magill single in T6. Now lead 4-1, mid 6."
