Cracker Barrel, Denny's or Bob Evans?

It's really a hard choice for me. Can't go wrong with a grand slam from Denny's but man Cracker Barrel has some good stuff too

It's no longer there anymore but Thompson's on South Third just south of Poplar. We used to call it "Frosty's freek show" for some reason. The people that frequented it look like they all came out of the movie "Deliverance"! A hair-lipped waitress kept us laughing there for years. Always a place to hit at 3am on the way home from the Bally or Simrell's. Anybody else remember it?

Jeanie was our waitress at Thompson's, every night at 11:15.

I like IHOP. If anyone lives in Indy, try Sophias on the south side. The best.

Theres a little green place out on 40 on the way to seelyville down the road from where the old glenn center used to be, I cant remember the name but me and my dad used to go there every saturday and man is it good

Funny! I remember being called Thompson Truck Stop but I don't think I ever saw a truck there! I will try Sophias. Thanks for the tip~

It used to be called "Scotty's" but is now called "Jonesy's"...food is still very good, especially breakfast.

Brings a tear to my eye...I used to live about halfway between there and the Glenn Center.

Sophia's house of pancakes in Greenwood is AWESOME! I am also a fan of Flap Jacks. I know they have locations in Greenwood and Plainfield but I don't know about anywhere else..

To answer the question I like IHOP

Flap Jacks in Lebanon and Avon are in my opinion not up to the standard set by the Brownsburg location. I haven't been to the Greenwood and Plainfield locations.+

Shoney's buffet is among the best. I don't know where they are located--don't know of any closer that Jasper, if it's still there.

As I get ready to head to the airport for Atlanta I will say that I will be happy with some Hardees.

Sausage Biscuit Como (w/ hashbrowns)
Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit
Small Sprite

BOOM!

Jonesy's... That is my favorite "dive" breakfast place.
I'm more of a "greasy spoon" guy when it comes to breakfast... I go for "mom and pop" places more than chains.

Coffee Cup on Lafayette isn't bad... the place next to Texas Roadhouse is good too..

Flap Jacks is the place for breakfast and has several locations in the Indianapolis area, been to the one in Greenwood, Bargersville, and Plainfield. There maybe as many as 11 Flap Jack restaurants in the Indianapolis area.

I usually take your path on breakfast. Becky's on Lafayette is my favorite "hole in the wall" in town. But you can never go wrong with Cracker Barrel!

My favorites have to be Hardee's and IHOP. We used to get a bit tipsy, walk to the old IHOP, when I was in school, and order the Lumber Jack Sampler. It wasn't on the menue, but it was a butt ton of food.

Cackleberries

What about Cackleberries at 303 South 7th Street? I have heard some good things about the breakfast choices at that restaurant.
