No love for movies like The Longest Yard (obviously the original), North Dallas Forty or Victory? They did make sports movies prior to the mid-80s you know.

Note: You could make Rudy at ANY college; it's not 'special' to notre dame. It's also fun to razz texans about Hoosiers VS. Friday Night Lights, i.e. Hoosiers was more IMPROBABLE, it was 'told' first AND they WON.
 
I guess I could put Rocky at my number 5...but the last two have just ruined the set for me.

Rocky 1-4 are entertaining, but not even in the top ten to me.

But since we are getting a little "silly" with sports movies I liked Cool Runnings!
