Larry, his brother Darrell and his other brother Darrell, Alfred E. Neuman, and Maynard G. Crebbs

Now after some of you have had a trip down memory lane and others are saying whaaaaaatt, I will start:

Scott
Barnes
Davis
Hughes
Murphy

Yeah, I know--just another of my feeble attempts at humor.

Barnes, Scott, Davis, Deady, Murphy

I would start Deady. Reward hard work and effort. I think he deserves an opportunity and hope for the best. We've gotten the least production out of our 4 spot so giving him a chance to show what he can do with the starting unit can't hurt.

I don't really expect him to start but I'm all for giving him an opportunity. If it doesn't work out, put him back into his role and we know we got a guy on the bench that will come in a work his tail off.

I'm not really expecting us to win today, but I wouldn't be shocked if we won today either. UNI is a 3.5 pt favorite and has a 72.4% chance of winning this game according to the ESPN Matchup Predictor. I still feel like UNI is going to turn it around and make a run in St Louis, but at the same time I think they just suck this year. Not sure how they went from beating NC State, and playing close with Xavier and Villanova, to being as bad as they've been.

I won't be following the game today. I'm going to the TN Tech - E Illinois game in Charleston that starts at the same time as this game. I guess I'll be surprised when I check the result when I get home.

It's kind of hard to believe that our home game Tuesday against Missouri State is a potential "stay out of Thursday game" for both squads. I have my doubts that MSU will beat Loyola today (game at LUC). Then Drake's next two games are on the road at Bradley and at Loyola. A win today could go a long ways for us finishing at least 6th, since 4 of our last 6 are at home.

Nice quick start. I like the intensity we’re showing early. Already have a steal and an offensive board.

The defense is really looking good early. Lots of contested shots, and we’re doing a great job with the pick and roll hedging. Thomas is looking much more active defensively then I’ve seen in a while.

Rickman has been moving on every high ball screen in this game. He’s lucky he got away with it as long as he did.

And just like in Terre Haute...we jump out to a nice early lead and we’ve let them back in the game. We’re ICE COLD right now.
