As I posted in the Around the Valley thread, Milton Doyle isn't expected to play in this game. He's supposedly out for another two weeks or so (estimated) with his ankle injury.

I like watching Doyle play buuuuuuut good. This is a needed win to keep pace for a good seed and an outside chance at another postseason tourney.

Agreed. I'm all about "our best versus your best," but I'm completely okay with Doyle not playing. You have to take advantage of every opportunity you can, and this is an opportunity to play a quality team without it's best player and offensive facilitator. Road Valley wins can be hard to come by, and this already difficult game just got a little easier.

Last night they played without another starter, Christian Thomas. Not sure what his status is for this weekend.

It happens....it happened to us.....David Moss.....2005-06........we started 8-0 then the roof caved in....

Gantt didn't start and bell got the tip. Bell first 2 points.

Bell sitting now with 2 fouls. Gantt in.

Gant and I am totally guessing here was a matchup thing - he wanted to go in the post early and try and get then in foul trouble. Insert Bell who has been our best post scorer.

Also, when they played us at home they had a post touch on every posession (nearly) so by starting Bell you keep Gant out of early foul trouble.

In theory a great idea until Bell fouls twice in first 2 mins.
