Yeah that woulda been a good win. Feels like unless we can pull off an upset at UNI Thursday is all but a lock. Beat UNI maybe not.!
I’m expecting Arch to be a bloodbath. I’m expecting something similar to when Valpo made a run and the top seeds were knocked out day 1.

It’s tough to win the whole thing playing 4 in 4. But someone will do it eventually. I do think the winner of Thursday games have a slight advantage Friday with the arena.

I unfortunately missed the comeback in the second half, but I wanted to come here and give the coaching staff some credit. We definitely seem to be playing much better and all along they’ve been talking about being ready for Arch Madness. We are finally showing some improvement and it’s looking like we can compete and beat any team in this league. The margins are thin (a common comment by many around this program), but it’s possible. When you have a guy like Teel that can seemingly get a bucket whenever we need one and he’s surrounded by some shooters, we have a punchers chance in any game.

It was the day before we played the best team in the conference and it pained me to wonder...

Can we stay close with this well-oiled, well-disciplined machine? We didn't and then we did.
Will we score more than 67 points? Yes, most points scored against Drake all season.
Will they score fewer than 67 points? No.
Can Wagner match Mascari in 3pt attempts and makes? Wagner 2-3, Mascari 1-5.
Can Teel out-assist Stirtz? 7-4 Stirtz.
Can Gray out-rebound Manyawu? 12-3 Gray.
Can anyone on our team be an X-Factor vs the Bulldogs? Some good performances but no.
Will Drake lose anymore games this season? If so, why not to us? Maybe not. Maybe in the MVC tourney.

That's the vibe I'm getting too. Now I could be completely wrong and it could be straight up chalk, but I feel like there can and will be some chaos at Arch this year. It's not like some previous seasons or even last year when you had 1-2 teams that were clearly above the rest of the pack. Drake has looked great this year but they also have lost some weird conference games/have been in a lot of close games. Doubly so for Bradley. Even at the bottom of the conference, if MSU won a game or two in STL I don't think anyone would be super shocked.
