I'd like to know what their definition of "placement" is. I know quite a few grads that couldn't find jobs with their degree and were working retail out of college. Are we talking internships, moving out of state for said job, any ol' job, or all of the above? Just curious, because I don't think working at Walmart should count. Any idiot with a GED can do that without wasting their money. I see these types of numbers all of the time on billboards and I know there's no way they are actually accurate, but who is checking?

To clarify, what I'm looking for:

"X"% of ISU graduates found a job in the field of their degree shortly after graduation.

So ISU is in a budget crisis, and has or is reducing their headcount, but on the other hand is on a hiring binge. LOL!!!

Nah, you know what they did. The ole rip and replace. Can people with high salaries in favor of newbies at the bottom of the pay scales.
The most likely of scenarios is a lot of undergrads are remaining at ISU for grad school... The 3 "locales" were employment, the military (specifically the graduates from ISUs ROTC programs) and grad school...
