Just wanted to pose some questions for some conversation here.

What type of Balance of Run/Pass do you think it will take for ISU to be successful?

What do you expect out of Shakir Bell?

Will Michigan State and former 4-star recruit Donald Spencer be a game-changer?

Will the offensive line be able to continue to protect Ronnie effectively after losing Senior guard Pat Burke?

I think we will be about 50 50 on the run pass....
I think spencer will def be good...because he is surrounded by good recievers that take attention off of him....
I expect luke harris and bell to split carries....both to have a good year with a good passing game to help the rush attack....I would also like to see taje high stay at tb...he had a great spring...
I think the o'line will be the same...it is only bad for a team when you lose like 3 seniors on the o line....one guy can be replaced fairly easy...

if Shakir gets the ball enogh times he is boound t break one, I really lok for a breakout yr for this kid, might be a bit small in size but has losts of heart and speed, you can't teach that.

Chuck Noll (legendary coach of the Steelers for you kids) once said any system can work if it is executed properly. I do believe to be good year after year an emphesis needs to be placed on running the ball. That doesn't mean being overly predictable, but if you are good enough and have the size and talent, you can run over people. Boomer Esiason once said, when the Bengals were at their best, they could tell the defense where they were going to run the ball and still convert.

I think we need a 55 45 split. 55 pass 45 run, we do have weapons on the outside that will create havoc for DBS....
