And does anyone think for a minute this isn't happening at the college level?
100%

It’s probably happening more so with the games and sports/leagues with less eyes on them.

Let’s say you are a reserve for Lindenwood and you have a game against Kentucky. The line is -25.5 Kentucky. The chances of this game being a blowout are nearly guaranteed which means you’ll be be put in when you are down 20+ or 30+ with 5 minutes to go in the game. You could easily manipulate that score to win that $100 bet you put on it. Nobody is going to question if you lose to Kentucky by 24 or 34 points. Nobody is going to question why you took a horribly contested 3 with 20 seconds on the shot clock down 26. Nobody is going to question why a player blew by you for an easy lay-up with 2 minutes left, Nobody will question anything about the last 5 minutes of a game like that.

There have been multiple stories about it happening at the college level over the last couple years. Now with NIL, I bet it amplifies because these kids now have disposable income to wager.
