Yeah, Young is the darling right now.

McIntosh will have a very nice, marketable Northwestern degree when he's done. Still wish he'd have come here... I have no doubts he'd have averaged 20ppg in the Valley.

Players like Trae Yong make EVERYONE around them better. Look @ OK's record last yr. v. 2017. He's NOT limited to an "in the box" or scripted style. When I think of great players from the past v. today's emphasis on the development of assembly line-like "skill packages" (sometimes at the sacrifice of individual creativity), I wonder. "What if..." How would Young's skills translate in a GL 1/2 court motion offense? Pretty obvious answer...and a perfect example of WHY a coach must shape his coaching philosophy around his player's talents. To go year after year using the SAME tactics & strategies in lieu of changing personnel packages is like a maintenance mechanic using STANDARD tools on METRIC-based machinery.

He may be a generational player -- a Steph Curry 2.0.

He has now played in 13 collegiate games and has scored 25 points and dished out 10 assists 7 times. That is the MOST times that a major college player has done that in the last 20 years. The next 2 players to do it is Denzel Valentine (6 times in like 140 games) and Chris Thomas (5 times in like 120+ games). Pretty damn interesting.
