How does the Meggs departure effect recruiting?

Will those that recently signed be given releases? Additionally, what is the current time table for the next recruiting cycle? Is it still early in the recruiting period where another coach can come in and not miss a beat?

I believe we could lose recruits. I know of other similar instances where the recruit followed the coach! I have heard one of the seniors has been recruited by Meggs...even though he would have to sit out a year.

The NCAA I think has some type of rule for incoming recruits that have their recruiting coach leave. I think it allows them to play at a different school, even without a release. I've seen this happen in football, and assume the other sports are the same.

i wasnt talking so much about incoming recruits.....

as i was talking about current isu players...being contacted by coach meggs about potentially transferring to washington......
