I - 70 ?

Leaving from West Lafayette Saturday mornning to go the ISU game, but will be going from Terre Haute back to Indianapolis after the game.

So what's the situation road & construction wise on I - 70 going East ?

Two weeks ago after the game I had no problems, traffic slowed to about 45 mph a couple of times but that is all.

I think it's about the same as taking 40. I drive it daily. Couple of 45 zones as previously mentioned.

I've went 40 the last 2-3 weekends I've been up in Terre Haute and have had no issues. As long as you're not a jackass, there is little cop interaction on 40.

Came west on I 70 Wednesday afternoon and ran into long delays and single lane traffic. Going east that morning wasn't an issue. But that was Wednesday.

I live on the west side of Indy.....

And I almost always take 40 to Terre Haute.

Just had someone come from Lafayette for an interview on campus. She said it took 45 minutes to get from 465 to Plainfield exit last night.

My suggestion is to take 465 to I-70 and get off on the Ronald Reagan expressway.. that hits US40 (and there are other shortcuts to get from the expressway to US40, but that is a direct route).

Been to Indy about 4 or 5 times since road construction began, take 40. Don't even waste time thinking about taking 70, if you waste time thinking about it remember this, don't even waste time thinking about taking 70. Go 40
