And to put that in perspective, it took him 15 seasons for to do that.

The real number is 12. He lost two years of his prime at age 30 and 31 with the one year NBA ban he got for his gambling issues where he decided to give baseball a shot. Also, adding in two years at age 38 and 39 after having been retired for 3 doesn't make much sense.

That having been said, for the sake of matching it up, take Jordan's 12 with the Bulls vs LeBron's best 12 -- basically you shave off his first couple years where he was adapting to the league. Jordan is still 6-0 (I contend he would have been 8-0 not for the ban) against James 3-6. That includes Jordan's first couple years where he played alongside coke fiends Dailey and Woolridge as well as broke his foot and still came back against the Celts and dropped 63 in the playoffs against the best HOF front court of all-time IMO in Parish, McHale and Bird.

Not counting anything James did this year forward, how do they stack up?

Didn't the Bulls lose that game (and the series) when he dropped 63 on the Celts?

Also believe that was an OT game

I didn’t know Jordan was banned. Was that “official “ or rumor?
