On several different websites this seems to be the constant remarks about the trees:
"Sycamores have had a nice run, this is their "show me" game because after we saw ISU win last week we decided that team just wasn't any good."
GRANTED: no one actually says this, I am just reading thru the crap.

Boy, did you hit the nail on the head there. All last week we read that winning at SDSU was really tough every year, and that ISU would have to bring their best game to do it. Then, after we do it, we read that it's no biggie to beat a pathetic 7th place team. Funny how that happens, isn't it???

Kind of like a basketball recruit getting four stars until he commits to an MVC school and then, inexplicably, he drops to three stars...

So we have to beat the best team in the FCS on the road to get any respect? Yeah, that seems reasonable. I'm not worried what others think.

What's intereasting to me is Trent will let off the gas when the trees lead. If you just look at scores I could understand the feeling of ISU just getting bye. He really seems to rest guys and use the bench. Both the WKU and SDSU game could have been larger margins of victory. If memory serves me right ISU went for it on two seperate 4th downs at SDS just to eat clock. This week will tell us everything. NIU will be well informed about Bell, may need to get our pass on which has been lacking atempts due to the running game.
