I just want to go on the record and stick my neck out a bit. I have high hopes for what should be a very talented team this year. I predict that we finish no lower than 4th in the Valley, with the possibility of coming out at or near the top. Bold, I know, but that's my prediction.

Bold that is and I like your prediction. Taking on the early season road games and adding difficulty to our schedule will season us early. Lets hope that the bugs don't bite us...injury bug, scholastic bug, and the down right dirty flu bug...and the lab rats come up with some type of team chemistry.

We do have a lot of pieces to the puzzle. Now, its time to put it together and see what kinda team picture we have.
 
I think that's very likely lol but to be honest that's not very bold...I picked us 2nd and expect nothing less than that...
 
Doubtful...you saying this years teams abilities are the same as last year's?????I think that's a foolish thought...

I think some of you have expectations that are a bit too high, but I hope you're right. We have a lot of talent, but I think it needs a season to jell and come together. I think we'll be very good, but not sure about the top two or three. Who knows though.

Well I am just being real. I'm not one of those guys who thinks just because I like a team they are going to be outstanding. Now when I see them at Midnight Madness then I might change my mind lol
 
I heard from a crazy WSU fan who gets onto all of us..."Hey, your team may have the highest potential of any team..." and no it's not baller!
 
There is no question we are not the favorite to win the conference, but at this point there is no reason we should not have the confidence we are in the top half of the conference. Sycamore28 is saying 6th, I mean come on atleast go in with high expectations. Honestly to me 6th place would be a huge disappointment!

I think we'll be in the top half of the league. I do understand that there is A LOT of uncertainty here... We have lost 3 starters, and a bucketload of ppg... Arguably our 2 best starters-to-be are coming off a year of injury problems. This allowed other players to get more PT, but we are going to be potentially relying on players without ANY D-1 experience to play some significant minutes (Walker, Odum, RJ, etc).
