I’m curious what the season ticket holders/regulars think about this. Being an out of towner I really have no idea what goes on during the timeouts in Hulman. From the outside I applaud the university for making what seem like improvements.

It's a good effort... I will say a couple things - I think it's a difficult job in general. One, Indiana State Basketball tends to be a bit of an older crowd. Two, in the past I don't think it's really viewed as a very energetic crowd although I think environment has improved a lot since the NIT run. Three, if you're losing and not any good it's a really difficult job to get the crowd to have energy. Four, if you don't have solid attendance which tends to happen with us from time to time the job is even more challenging.
JT has quite a bit of experience as he started with Indiana State Basketball, then the Terre Haute Rex and I think he does some emcee work for a minor league baseball team in Nashville, TN where he resides. My understanding is that he's going to be coming back and forth from Nashville to TH just to emcee these games. That should tell you all you need to know about how much JT loves Indiana State.
But yes, as ITF stated we've tried before... They are trying things though to try and continue to improve and engage with fans. They sent out a corporate notification today that they are going to have a floor level suite for $600 per game that businesses or people can rent out for up to 8 people. I appreciate the creativity and effort.
