Yep, they just went ahead and did it again!! Indiana State Mens Track has won the MVC Indoor Conference Championship!

Bare in mind (not that this is the place or the time), this all with one of the worst indoor facilities in the nation - you'd think the powers that be would take notice and make a long term investment in the program! Wake up Indiana State!

The most consistently productive program at Indiana State hands down!

Women were so close to winning too, and BOTH these teams have a LOT of underclassmen on their teams!

Look the sucess they get is great and to be honest until I started coming here I never really took notice of the success of these teams. I think the Track and CC teams are starting to get the attention of more people such as myself and others on this board for one reason . Guys such as yourself and ISUCC promoting the success of these teams makes the fans of the big 3 sports take notice . Keep up the good work guys and remember Rome wasnt built in a day . Fight the good fight and continue doing what you are doing make more fanss of your sports.

Thanks Dave!!

It's easy to promote success! When your team wins and or finishes second most of the time it's pretty easy to talk about! The MVC aint quite as stout in Track as it is in baseball or basketball but it aint weak either - it's had a National champion come out of it probably every year the past 10 or so years - it's solid!!

About time people take freaking notice!

Manny Arop and Lucas Eitel give Sycamore Mens Track some love on Twitter!! Kitch with some big ups love also!!

LOVE to see these teams supporting eachother on social media - wish they'd do a better job supporting eachother on campus!!

ISUTF go to the game on Wednesday - not because you will probably be introduced at half time but because you support your school!!

some post meet awards worth mentioning too.

McNichols received men's coach of the year, no surprise there.

Greggmar Swiftwas the men's most valuable track athlete.

Felisha Johnson was the most valuable female field athlete.

Kelly Steffen and Max Tuttle received the MVC Elite 18 award.

Thanks Dave!!

I looked it up, I've been keeping track SSOM, but the MVC has had an NCAA champion (male or female) for the past 8 straight NCAA meets (indoor/outdoor combined). The last meet without an NCAA champion from the MVC was outdoor track 2008.
