They WERE selling beer at Saturday's game. Very, very slow staff -- I was third in line -- took about 12 - 13 minutes to get served.
They let two guys buy 8 - 10 beers ---- no way that should be happening. Two beers per person in my opinion.
But they were selling beer
By the way, did you notice how selling beer brought in so many more people ???????

some people would be mad that they handed out a gold brick but didnt give them a sack to carry it in
 
I believe I saw a FCS school is having their own beer produced. Not sure how that is within NCAA rules, but found it cool.

Beer is simply a value-added service to those that already come to the games. The underlying issue as it always has been is students, alumni and local residents don't care about ISU football. I don't know how many times we have to reiterate this point, but FCS football is looked down upon as low level ball on top of there being too many "big time" schools that our folks grew up supporting in Notre Dame, Indiana and Purdue. It is what it is and it's not going to change.
