Indoor track teams open TODAY at Eastern Illinois

The Indiana State Women's Track and Field team will begin the 2013-2014 campaign at the Eastern Illinois Early Bird this Friday. The Sycamores will face Illinois State, Southeast Missouri, and Eastern Illinois in the meet. The meet will kick off at 3:00 p.m. (CT) with the Weight Throw and track events will begins at 4:10 p.m. (CT) with the preliminary rounds of the 60 meter hurdles.

Sycamore Men's Track and Field Set to Compete at the Eastern Illinois Early Bird

Taylor Gilles runs a big PR in the 60 hurdles and is 2nd in 8.65, that is #2 all time for the women indoors at ISU

The team Turner bus had to make an emergency stop on the way home from Charleston tonight. The bus driver lost consciousness momentarily - an assistant coach and trainer had to help get the bus stoped before a an accident happened. An ambulance is currently on sce. to care for the driver and a new driver is on the way.

Scrary stuff hope the driver is alright and glad team and coaches are alright.

Sycamore Men Defeat Eastern Illinois and Illinois State at the Eastern Illinois Early

The Sycamores won the Eastern Illinois Early Bird meet scoring 133 points. Eastern Illinois placed second with 111 points and Illinois State was third with 70 points.

Sycamore Women Fall Short in Second Place Finish at Eastern Illinois Early Bird Opene

The Sycamore women's fell just short at the Eastern Illinois Early Bird meet as they lost to Eastern Illinois 126-102. Illinois State was third in the meet with 75 points.
