Also just realized they dusted off the tournament we're the defending champions of... this was the Indiana Classic. Probably should have kept the name retired.

It was a CLASSIC loss for eye ewe, not only for In-State prestige, but this is a bad loss for them for NCAA Seeding...but I have no idea what your talking about when you say this was the Indiana Classic.

That tournament, which was ONLY held in Gloomingtion hasn't happened since ISU won it in 1999.

This loss could potentially cost them a seed but I don't foresee any more than that depending on the season they have. The system forgives teams that have bad losses as long as you have them very early on and this loss qualifies. It won't hurt them too bad as long as they don't allow this to snowball on them into something worse...

Happy for Fort Tuckey the IU slayers!! I feel like we all won a game last night anytime IU gets beat.

watched the game too, came away VERY impressed with IPFW, they REALLY moved the ball well, great, crisp passes, nice shooting, not afraid to take it inside. Easy to see why they're favored to win their conference.

I watched it too. Was very fun to watch since they were able to pull off the win. Once IU took the lead late in the 2nd half, I was all, "Freakin figures...Ft. Wayne leads almost the whole game, and now IU is gonna swoop in at the end for the win". But NO, Ft. Wayne is able to close the deal!

I'd been looking forward to this game since it was announced...."road game" for the Hoosiers vs a mid-major picked to win their conference. And it didn't disappoint.

I see IPFW was 7 for 31 from 3pt range. So I guess you can shoot and miss a ridiculous number of threes and still beat a top 5 team. At least when you're at home.

That was their only true road game in non conference and judging by all the red it was pretty much a home game.

4Q already provided the link but if you look at the bright red headers, IPFW was game 3 of their 4 game "Indiana Classic" name they brought for this year. Probably should have left it in the archives since they didn't think to invite the defending champs to play in it.
