Is there any tangible evidence - verified eyewitness reports of this happening? Not sure if this reporting is a joke. Have these photos been doctored?

Take a gander - is this for real? Hulman Suite & Party area... Convention Center with Marriott?

Convention Center with Hotel is happening- totally unaffiliated with the Hulman Center project which is also happening.

Casino will happen if successful in referendum in November election.

Hard Rock Casino will happen if/when Gibson partially owned Spectacle Entertainment wins the bid process.

Casino will more than likely be located out in eastern Vigo Co. near i-70 if Hard Rock / Gibson win the bid.

Really - you are not $hitting me? OK man... That's a ton of investment in TH. Just don't tell me the Guitar shaped hotel is the new "standard hotel build" to create consistent marketing and recognition for Hard Rock and it's coming to TH (scaled down of course)... I won't believe that.

So - the fine people of TH are getting their act together or what? The Bird museum near Hulman is a good idea.

Not shitting you - the Hard Rock would be a much smaller scale. All of the Hard Rocks are branded and have a certain standard from what I can tell but they all have different designs. People should check out the Hard Rock website to see the other Hard Rock casinos pretty impressive stuff. $100 million is the anticipated minimum amount for the construction project.

The Hulman Center is going to have some sort of open concept / corporate party deck sort of a layout. I’m not sure what it will look like when finished but I’m sure it will look nice as all or the seats will finally be the same color.

As for convention center it should be nice as well. Larry Bird museum as you mentioned and hotel and perhaps another parking garage and perhaps even a replacement/update for the Copper Bar.

A lot going on in the Haute right now - Gibson surely stands to benefit greatly but good on him for investing his money here!

I was in Terre Haute about two weeks ago passing through on the way to St Louis. I drove by the Hulman Center and it was all torn up. Parts of the west side were removed and you could basically look right into the arena. Parts of the South side by the statue were torn off and being worked on too. Not sure what the finished product will look like but there is certainly a lot of work being done to the building.

I liked the part in the first video above (6/14/19) where he showed two sections of seats that will be removed to make open "lounge" type areas. Sounds like something that will look good and be put to use (hopefully) during the games. The part I'm talking about is at 1:55 in the 6/14 video.

So, it looks like there will be some glass all the way around the building. I take that as a win, compared to that terrible final rendering we all saw with awful looking entrance....which had no glass around the building otherwise.
