my oh my, ISU down 5. If they lose this they WILL be playing on Thursday night in St. Louis for SURE. This is just unreal.

Not only are the men collapsing the ISU women have too. Down 62-59 with a little over a minute left at UNI, they were up TWELVE points in the 2nd half.

Game over, WSU wins this one, absolutely DREADFUL. NO WAY this team wins even the rest of their home games. This was a game ISU should have WON! I just don't get it??

TWO complete meltdowns by ISU teams tonight. The men blow a huge lead in the 2nd half and lose to WSU, the women blow a 12 point 2nd half lead and lose to UNI by 3. Unreal

ISU loses 65-60 to a team that is horrible. HORRIBLE. NO excuses on this one. We just chocked coming down the stretch. PATHETIC. So once again we are treated to another Play-in game in StL. And we wonder why every year we have the worst attendance of any team in the Valley in STL. Who wants to watch another last place team lose in the first round again. Just sorry, all the way around.
 
this loss is especially painful because Bradley LOST at Illinois State and UNI is getting crushed by MSU. ISU blew a PRIME chance to move up in the MVC standings with 4 of 5 MVC games at home coming up.

So with the MSU win, ISU now falls into 8th place in the MVC standings, ahead of ONLY WSU and Evansville.

Creighton 7-5
Southern Ill. 7-5
Bradley 7-6
Northern Iowa 6-7
Missouri St. 5-8
Indiana State 5-8 (and now on a 5 game losing streak)

Which means ISU is horrible. I'm just tired of every season being the same. Be it football or basketball we're never better than the year before. This season it looked like a possibility, but not so much now. Let's hope Kevin figures out how to get the team through these rough MVC stretches. If the same thing happens next year you have to start to wonder if the coaching change had any impact.
 
I agree. This season has not been much better than previous seasons. Everybody stay positive and remember that Coach McKenna does not have the guys to run his system at this point. I believe we do have some players that will fit his system very well. However, we cannot fill every spot at this point.

Stay Positive. I believe better days are ahead.

They have had a brutal schedule that last 8 games. Two home games and one of them was Drake. Let's have a strong finish!
