My ISU cross country teammate Mark King's daughter just destroyed the US and World record in the 100 breaststroke at the NCAA Swim meet in Georgia, VERY impressive. She's only a freshman at IU.

First ever under :57 for the record! 56.85, just phenomenal!

"Indiana’s Lilly King stunned the collegiate swimming community by breaking the 57-second barrier to blast her NCAA, U.S. Open and American record in the women’s 100-yard breast at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships."

It doesn't say WR in this, but it is. They live in Evansville, Lilly was one of the most sought after college swim recruits in history coming out of HS last year.

She outa transfer to ISU & "be somebody," right SSOM?:swimming:

Sounds to me like she already is "somebody" Bank.

As I always say, if you're good enough to compete for a Big Ten program then you should take advantage of the opportunity and exposure. That being said, opportunity and exposure can still exists at Indiana State and many athletes throughout our history have proven that. Glad to see her finding success.

As any true Sycamore would do, I always wear a tech shirt underneath my IU t-shirt when I'm at the pool. Don't want to get a rash or anything.
