Senior All-American John Mascari has made quite a name for himself during his four years at Indiana State. The Terre Haute native has left records in the dust on his way to becoming the most decorated distance runner in not only ISU history, but also one of the best ever in the Missouri Valley Conference.

nice write up about John, who, if you ask me, is the best runner in MVC history, let alone ISU history. He will also be a sure ISU hall of famer and one of the best all around athletes to ever wear an ISU uniform. Hard to believe his 4 years will be done next June already!

Scott - love you brother and was just e-mailing back and forth with you today but we have to set the record straight here. You slighted him just a bit.

He was the best distance runner in ISU history by the time his Sophmore season was over. Established.

He just became the greatest distance runner in MVC history 2 weeks ago, it's undisputed at this point - he is the best. The most outstanding male runner at any future Cross Country meet will one day be named in his honor. We don't need to ask you or me, our opinion matters not. He was Mike Tyson of the MVC. Established.

When he wins the Great Lakes Regional tomorrow?! He becomes the greatest runner to ever run in the same Regional that has been so good an Indiana State team has never made it out of this regional. Established tomorrow!

Go get it kid! You the toughest dude on the planet!
