SIU QB Chris Dieker is out for 6 weeks, so former Mr. Indiana football and Evansville Reitz product Paul McIntosh gets his first start. I'm sure he'll have plenty of family there. Can't wait to see him run and gun.

What happened to Dieker? Maybe having him out will help keep the game respectable?? Although I'm sure the Salukis will look to get Karim back on track after a somewhagt subpar game.
 
SIU will kill us, unless our offense can score a lot and the defense can keep their offense on the bench.

Dieker broke his left clavicle. They're saying out six weeks.

SIU RB Deji Karim is the real deal. Leads FCS in rushing with 1,025 yards in seven games. 7.3 per carry with 10 touchdowns. He's also second in FCS in all purpose yards.

Hopefully Mr. Obaeski and Co. will give him a nice welcome back to Indiana.
 
always great to see SalukiNC back here to bash ISU football, welcome! yes, we know you all will prob. win, we're just hoping it's not the usual 70 something to 7 that it's been recently.

Do tell how I was bashing on Indiana State football? Just trying to talk about the game. Nothing but good things can come from playing the SIUs and UNIs of FCS.

sorry SIU BIG mistake for the great football backers! one win doesnt mean the future is bright. Think outside the box--- Sycamore football has been real BAD since late 80's~ But I guess I will stick with them!

I dont thik we are bad....we are extremly young. What is it like 75% of the team is Freshman or Sophmores..This does make the future bright, a young team that can build and grow together. Look at the Miami Hurricanes, I'm not saying we are the hurricanes but we are very young and starting to grow together as a team and that will bring great things for the future...Besides hammer what problem do u have with the football team anyway??
