Look at what Butler just sold their football naming rights for.

I'm trying to be a little more realistic than 9.4 million.

Or maybe I'm wrong...maybe it would be worth somewhere in the millions to someone...I wouldn't put anything past anyone at this point.

I wonder if ISU AD has an objective in play for "Naming Rights" , however the City I think owns Memorial Stadium. But then again, give the city a cut of a "Naming Rights" deal???? Hell, even if it's a net 300k-400k /year, it would be like playing another FBS school.

"Owns" is the operative word... ISU "acquired" the stadium in 1967, I believe the terms were more generous than micth daneils' "sale" of the Indiana Toll Road...

ISU leased the stadium from the city for $1.00/annum for 99 years. We have 49 years remaining on that lease.

So, I'd say that ISU 'owns' Memorial Stadium
