I said it last time when he was on before we played Creighton (and we lost) and I'll say it again.....it seems like EVERY time Lansing is on JMV, we lose the next game.

This kind of pub on a Indy radio station is practically unheard of.Can't hurt our recruiting at all.Coach going to the statehouse today is also a boost for ISU.
 
JMV opens with question about Odum missing the first freethrow - "were you nervous Greg" - not really nervous with Odum at the line. Even if he makes 1 we are going to over time. Lansing hated the game had to end that way, it was a foul - Jacobson is a friend of mine and he said after the game if he's on the other end of it he would have wanted a foul called on that also.

Lansing Valley play - I'd rather we not lost a game and been leading the league. Anything can happen - we could lose out. Told the guys, doesn't matter what place we are in right now. Wichita is a good ball club, they are as good as anyone in the country - we will have our hands full.

JMV talks about Miami being really good and the Sycamores cheering them on. Lansing, yeah you've got Miami leading the ACC and Ole Miss leading the SEC - both of those are really good wins.

JMV talks about trying to make it to the HC to host his show prior to the Creighton game. Lansing, that would be great - hope we can get it done, we will take care of you guys!
 
I am waiting for Bankshot to start criticizing coach for taking the time off to talk to JMV. ANYTHING he does to get some needed pub in Indy is worth whatever it takes. His visit to the statehouse hardly was a waste of time as I saw it on over half of the newscasts tonight. If JMV wants to spread our word with a broadcast next week from HC, then this 5 minutes will be worth it. Any news is GOOD news.
