Opening this tournament against the only two teams that swept us this year.

I'll refer to that article about how hard it is to beat a team three times in one season.

We HAVE to take care of the ball rebound, run our offense and we will have a chance to play on sunday...their size will be an issue if Jake Kelly is unavailable...

Yeah we need a good shooting outing...it has been a bit since our last one lol..NO PRESSURE ON THE TREES...Tho I do believe WSU thinks they got our number since the game at ISU...I just think we see a much better game than that...

many may laugh at this assessment but I think the X-factor in this game for ISU is Isiah Martin, look what he has done vs. WSU this season. At WSU he had 10 crucial points for ISU and really got the team back in it.

So if I am Lansing I make sure Martin sees the floor alot today. But that's my 2 cents.

Either way, we are NOT going to get any respect from WSU fans today, not after the way we played last night.

They will have a LOT of fans there who will be loud, so hopefully there will be many ISU fans who will drive down to the game today, let's go!

I think it depends alot on Isiah Carl Myles and RJ...we need to be able to prove early that they wont be goin inside all day...dont foul their exterior guys, Ragland especially he shoots an extremely high percentage from the line...On that same note tho we cant let them walk up to the three point line.

For those in NWI with Comcast, the game will be on Comcast Sports Net channel 37.

Just got a feeling.....................but I don't think Lansing or the players who appear in the post-game interviews packed a loser's speech with them when they headed to St. Louis.

GO SYCAMORES.......GIT'R DONE !!

I'm looking forward to WSU playing ISU. Today is the day where depth can start to be an advantage for WSU but only if their bench is playing well. I suspect ISU will look totally different today than they were against UE and WSU better be ready for a war. Goodluck today and go shox!

Wichita depth depth depth.............you can only play five at a time AND did you notice that the Sycamores usually play 9 or 10 and last night in a close ugly game all the way they played 10 for 10 minutes or more ?????

GO SYCAMORES.............GIT'R DONE!

Lack of depth sunk ISU in Wichita. When the 2nd overtime started it was obvious that ISU was gassed. Not saying depth will be the difference in this game but every little advantage helps in a tournament situation like this.

No question that WSU has the most quality depth in the league. Marshall has built a team that can win at the NCAA level. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, they can be prone to long periods of playing without discipline. Of course, our Trees have proven to have that same ability!!!

I think this game is gonna be a good one. I hope both teams show up with their "A" games today, or more accurately, I hope we show up with our "A" game and WSU shows up with their "B" game!!!

Should be a great game, with all the pressure being on WSU because no one really thinks the Trees have a chance. Classic matchup of a team with everything to lose vs. a team with nothing to lose.

Here's to a classic tournament war!!!

Agreed. WSU lacks discipline at times. And their lack of ability to fight through screens and stop the dribble drive penetration could be the difference in the game if they cannot adjust. Most of our loses have looked very similar. Behind by about 10 at the half and make it close at the end.
