Think it was about playing time. I wish him luck as well. King is a talented young player, but if Indiana State wants to get to the next level and stay there we need big, fast receivers. Maybe he goes back to playing QB now?
 
Was he ever listed on the baseball roster? I don't ever recall seeing his name. Rockville High School athletics is a looooooooooooooong way from Indiana State athletics.

Kid is a great local athlete who took a team to state. I don't blame him for wanting to play more and for wanting to be a two sport athlete. Fouch came here didn't he? Playing time is different than being a great athlete who goes unused. We are just a deeper team now and some kids don't want to just be on the team or be special teams guys....he obviously wants to play and have fun. Good luck Matt
 
The decision is the one that he chose; could be playing time, could be he thought the school was too big, could be anything--bottom line I guess is that Matt feels it's what's right for him. Good luck, and thanks for your efforts.
 
Nice to see him doing well. Given the low passing yard totals though, I assume they're more of a running team? Either way, good for him and his brand new team.
