Had just got done watching that on gaybook - thanks for posting! Good interview, hopefully the Sycamores can show the rest of the state what we are working with.

In the grand scheme of things this meet doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot. In past years we have preformed very well in this meet and it has not really done anything for us later on in the season. I would be pleased with a top 3 finish - but I am sure the guys wouldn't be happy with anything less than a W.

Before the current system of national qualification, Intercollegiates was a big meet. It also came a little later in the season. "Back in the day", the season ended with Intercollegiates, week off, MVC, week off, Districts.

Intercollegiates is still is good way to measure yourself against the rest of the state.

Yeah, I've noticed that the arrogance and sense of entitlement doesn't exactly stop with the football team. :D

Oh no doubt - I just hope we slaughter IU! lol I might be able to make it to watch the race - kind of depends what time my event that I am attending for work tomorrow get's done.

XC you ought to watch the LIVE webcast tomorrow if you can't make it in person!

I actually flirted with the idea of skipping out of work early and driving up to Lafayette, but the men's race starts too late for me to make it back to Indy for some 6:30 plans. Who's doing the webcast?

I'll be curioius to see if IU brings their best squad, or if they'll consider themselves above bringing the studs. In any case, I think the Trees have a good shot at putting the wood to everybody.
