Padget went off ehh? That's got to be close to a school record or something, doesn't it? LOL and these guys have not even ran the entire team at a meet yet this year! This is clearly the best and most prepared Sycamore team Indiana State has had in some time, wouldn't you say Jersey? If these guys continue to train hard and listen to Keeney they are going to do big things! This team is going to make Nationals, I am telling you!

this was really IMPRESSIVE to see also because ISU didn't run their top runners in this race. Didn't the 5 who raced at Evansville sit this one out?

VERY good to see this!

Coach has been consistent in remarking how impressive Padge has been in workouts. What a deep group!

This team has to believe in late November. They are that good. If they train with that goal in mind- keeping the nose to the grindstone for the next 6 weeks- they can really make some noise on November 14th.

The key: training to succeed over 10,000 meters on a very hilly course. You dont have to be fast- you just need to be able to sustain 75/400m pace over a hilly course. It takes a bullish aerobic wackjob to keep pushing past 8k at Bloomington!

Our miler/5k types have to keep it up! Keep pushing forward- nosing the log up hill for the next 50 days- they are the key. A snowy hilly 6.2 mile race favors the true distance guys like Keeney-Schulz-Padge- if we keep our miler/3k types going- we'll have a team at nationals.

As I've said in the past- sounds odd- but these guys are my NFL team- they'll be fun to watch this fall!
