What is your team rumored to be doing? I've heard the Bears are going after Julius Peppers and Antrel Rolle. Lots of teams cut players today or put RFA tenders on them.

My Bears have signed a TE thus far, Brandon Manumaleuna. He played for Martz in St. Louis. Looks like the rumors about trading Greg Olsen may be true. Rumors on PFT also have them as the leader for Julius Peppers.

No real losses there. Brock isn't worth the money he was making. Colts never do much in veteran free agency anyway. With the new rules in place, I think it's even less likely they'll be able to do anything this year.
nobody expects them to do much in free agency....
as you said bent...they never do...they would rather pay for their own free agents who they want to keep...brock was tired of playing behind freeney and mathis.....and he didn't like bouncing from defensive end to defensive tackle and back again.....
the possibility of losing jennings was not a surprise.....he gives up too much cushion in pass coverage....marlin jackson, though, is somewhat of a surprise....i talked to him in fort lauderdale the week before the super bowl....i asked him about coming back for 2010...he said that he had been led to believe that he would be back....but he has been hurt the last two years....and they do have jerraud powers and jacob lacey now to fight it out for the job.....

Bears have added Julius Peppers and Chester Taylor. This is the most activity I can ever recall the Bears having in free agency. They still need to get a wideout and address the offensive line.

I was for it and I'm still for it. Orton is a band aid quarterback at best and Cutler is infinitely more talented. That said, he is prone to making mistakes (see Brett Favre) but I think with a solid offensive line and a dynamic receiver, he will be fine.
Based on some of his college games I watched but more his rookie year -- Orton strikes as a System QB -- like any QB, he'll need the weapons...
I think both sides will be happy; have heard Cutler definitely has that gunslinger mentality (and with his arm, size, athleticism...) who wouldn't!
I heard a rumor that Cutler's father played FB at State -- TJames wasn't able to confirm it; nor had he heard it...
FINALLY!!!!! They will draft a QB again this year, expect that they will draft one in the first 3 rounds of the draft - has Manning's contract been extended yet TJ?
They could bring in a Vet. QB to backup Manning for cheap as well.
How bout the kicker situation? Is Stover gone? Will AV be healthy?
