4:15 in the morning in Coalmont? Passed out in Clay County. WTH?

Hopefully he can pick up the pieces, and move on without severe consequences, like losing his teaching/coachng job. He's has plenty of consequences to deal with in the courts, without being piled on by everyone else. Per Rick Semmler, the Linton school superintendent has administratively placed Mr. Hart on leave.

skdent, are you his dentist there? If so, make sure his teeth are in order, in case he has to spend any time in a Green or Clay County Jail.

Just stop making stuff up that wasn't said. Read it again you sexy beast you. My hope was that he didn't get anymore consequences than what the law is going to give him.

Obviously drinking and driving is dumb, but the reactions to stuff like this are often extreme to say the least. There are people calling for the coach to be fired on the comments section of WTHI's news alert on Facebook.

I seriously doubt he gets much of anything from the law other than a fine and maybe some community service, which is probably the max he should get. Our legal system doesn't put actual criminals in jail, so putting a guy like this in jail for more than a night would be totally stupid.

As for the future of his coaching career I have no idea. If he gets fired I'd definitely call that extreme, but you never know these days. I think North's coach got a DUI back when I was in school and nothing much happened to him besides having to sit out a few games.

In one city, if you steal less than $950 it is a misdemeanor and they are not prosecuting misdemeanors, so you get out and can do it again.
230 pregnancy care centers have been vandalized and nobody cares who did it. Protesting baby-killers are a protected class.

Joey Hart is going to be back coaching at Linton later this month on the 28th. He received a suspension from the school and that's all. Glad to see he's not going to get fired like some of the morons out there wanted.

Not here! Some of the cities are letting criminals out of jail. The woman that tried to break into Robert De Niro's apt in NY had been arrested 26 times.
 
He needs to consider purchasing one of these..."Thought he was in Clay City?" I thought Crane Naval Depot employees were a bit more astute re: directions? Were his "coordinates" fixed on the Horseshoe Casino?
