You call it trolling because you don't like seeing the blinders taken off, which of course is fine, it's your message board. But everybody here always clamors about Indiana State not getting respect. My link is one of many reasons why. You guys want respect from everybody all the time, yet a lot of you seldom give it back in return. You all get together on the Valley message board during your winning streaks demanding respect, but when the losses started piling up, there wasn't a soul around to give it right back in return.
And if I was trolling, I wouldn't bring an actual discussion point to the board. I would just be posting about how Indiana State sucks, Indiana State fans suck, etc. I'm not doing that. You call it trolling because it makes you feel better. In actuality, you don't like seeing stuff that makes sense but kills your prior arguments.
Alright, what exactly about the thread that you linked was so bad? It was a fan that was simply opining that his team plays very hard and he thinks they'll win the tournament. You, and everyone else on that board, do the same thing all the time. As a matter fact, the ISU fan didn't flame anyone, didn't make any inflamatory statements, and never even got into a pissing match with anyone. It was simply an opinion.
The problem with people like you, and the majority of WSU and CU fans is that an opinion is only allowed on an MVC message board if it agrees with yours. Otherwise, it's a sign of disrespect from those fans whose teams should stay in the basement where they belong. It's so blatantly obvious that that is your modus operandi, even a blind man could see it.
YOU are exactly the reason that there aren't many ISU fans on that board. It's merely a place for Shocker, BlueJay and (some) Bear fans to talk. No one else should bother because unless a post extolls the virtues of those three teams, it's not worthy of posting, and gets flamed.
It's a sad state of affairs, too. 10 years ago, ValleyTalk was a great board where everyone could come to discuss Valley basketball. Flaming was kept to a minimum, and while arguments could erupt from time to time, the discussions were usually civil and somewhat intelligent. Then, people like you started frequenting the board, and all civility stopped. Why do you suppose the same 25 people are responsible for 90% of the posts on mvcfans.com?
Frankly, most of us could care less what you and any other MVC fans think of us. We all have our opinions on why things happen they way they do, and we air them
here, on
our board, away from the rest of the league. We don't care to discuss it with you or your ilk, and we certainly don't care what you think of us.
So, please, crawl back into your hole. I can't believe I've actually wasted five minutes of my time composing this, and I'm sure I'll regret it. After all, in this instance, I keep hearing the old saying in my head - "When you wallow with the pigs, you're going to get dirty." I'm sorry I wallowed with you. I'm going to crawl out of your pen now and clean myself off. And I think I'll just ignore fans from other schools when they come on here.
