This is neither "funny" or "awesome" and shame on anyone that thinks it is.

I haven't commented (but once) on yesterdays game and I don't intend to comment on what I witnessed yesterday.

However this? Maybe the most embarrassing things that took place yesterday. I don't care what was said to him or how upset he was, you can't do this. It's completely unacceptable and he ought to be suspended for his actions.

You want to talk about other issues that have gone on within this team that haven't been punished then be my guest. But in this instance we have actual "visual" evidence. Some of these other things that we have "heard" don't necessarily classify as factual.

This is not funny at all - what is funny is the way we played yesterday and I am freaking embarrassed for you guys that you think it's funny and awesome. Classless.

In fact - it's my understanding that Walker and Lansing have "issued" an apology for his middle finger. If that is any indication that this is no laughing matter.

Golden just tweeted the crowd was saying things about his mom, who is ill. They better be glad he didn't go Ron Artest on their asses.

I bet the spoiled rich kid/student who said something to Myles wouldn't have the guts to say anything to his face.

Myles is a good young man,I am sure he regrets his actions, but I'm not going to make a judgement about why he did it. I have been to too many games where "fans" have completely crossed the line and said disgusting things, and then people have gotten on a player for showing emotion. Should he have done it, no. Was it the right thing to do, no. However before I judge it, I would like to know what was said.

We are talking about kids, not robots and their is only so much the average person can, and should, take from "fans".

No this is not funny but the Butler fans are a little but big for their britchers this year. They could back ii up in the past but they are an average team in an average conference this year.

Miles should of taken the high road but that it easier said than done when you are in the middle of battle. Lot's of fouls missed under our basket in the first half and I am sure that lead to the frustration.

Time to move on we have two to win thsi week.

I'm not as upset with Walker for doing it as I am at Indiana State fans for supporting it. Walker is a good kid, I have talked with him a couple times - good dude. Thats not the issue here, he is on the floor representing Indiana State and that sure doesn't paint us in a good light.

Agreed. It's a shame he felt he had to lower himself to the level of the Butler fans.

1. Stay classy Butler.

2. The front row of our student section is just as bad as this. Those kids from Terre Haute and those who live with the players think they have this God-given right to be halfway on the court, screaming at the players and referees. Those students yell things on the same level as what the Butler students said to Myles. The only difference is that those students have finally been thrown out a couple of times for their actions.

I'm not sure if it was the whole student section or just a few that said something about Myles. Regardless, that needs to be monitored and those kids need to be thrown out.

I saw this immediately after the game and did not want to be the first to report it on here. lol. I am not defending Myles at all, but I have been on the court and know student sections can be down right dirty and nasty at times.

My first thought when I saw this picture was, for Myles to respond to this there would have had to have been something said about his mother or something to do with race. Myles is a good kid and it just sucks he responded like that (or at least got caught! lol), but he will persevere and hopefully finish his ISU career off strong!

Myles is a good guy and no matter what the Butler fans/students where saying to him you have to be able to stay cool and be the better man. I'm not to worried about this trend continuing and I'm sure Myles regrets it...Butler fans showed their asses if the chants/comments are true but sadly Myles lowered himself to their standards and got caught doing it. It's over and I wish that was our biggest problem with this team.

As far as I am concerned after reading the statement released by Lansing and Walker this issue is finished. They made a quick and proper response and I am moving on. For Sycamore fans that thought this was funny - I again remind you (for the third strait post) it was not a laughing matter. I wouldn't even have commented on the matter had I not seen the reaction by a few of you.

Absolutely, SycamoreStateofMind, this is unacceptable, it makes ISU look like a thug university. Where is the sportsmanship? You embarrassed your self and your team. The Sycamores got an old fashion butt whipping, congratulate the winners and get off the court..
