My Bulls have two picks. Will be interesting to see if they stand pat or try to move up. Was listening to Chicago sports radio and there was some clamoring to try to move up and get Doug McDermott. On an ISU level, don't think Odum has his name called but would be cool if he worked his way into the bottom of the second round. Do think he'll get a Summer League and training camp invite.

Anyone else think the PACERS will stand pat or will they make a trade for a first round pick? For some reason, I think it will be a fun night for the blue and gold and a very interesting one. They want to show the fans that they definitely mean business for 14-15, especially with players they could trade. Certainly no one is off the board for a trade, even PG.

I don't expect any draft night trades from the Pacers. Bird is going to be careful. He knows he has a good thing that just needs shaped up a bit. If Lebron should go out west, the East could very well belong to the Pacers.

This is the thing that just has me scratching my head with LeBron, Carmelo and all the other top flight FAs. If the goal is to win titles, why in the heck would you even consider a Western Conference team?

Pacers Turner gets traded. That gets them a lower first round or upper second round pick.

The rest of the pacers stay although I wish Scola was traded. Not a fan of him really.

Turner's contract ran out, so he's not theirs to trade. They'd have to meet his qualifying offer before a sign and trade and I'm not sure anyone wants to give him that much money now. He was a huge disappointment. Hill and Hibbert are trade possibilities, but I would be very surprised if either goes.

Turner will be a steal for the next team he goes to. He didn't get a fair shake in Indy and he needs the ball to impact.

Well lookie there... a former Valley player to the Bulls.

McDermott just dealt to the Bulls for their two first round picks.

For anyone wondering, Jake Odum did not get drafted. Hopefully, he has better luck than Shakir getting some tryouts and looks as a free agent. I'd be surprised if he doesn't land somewhere and get to play in the NBA's summer league.

If by "shot" you mean I had a huge draft party, drank some coldies and had mutliple TV's set up to watch the draft and the replay of the USA Soccer game - then yeah I think he had a shot.

I also don't think the Orlando Magic worked him out twice and about 7 other teams once to just tell him hey your a nice kid. What do you mean, do I think he has a shot? Hell yes he had a shot. The guy who lead D1 in turnovers was a lottery pick okay, anyone has a freaking shot.

I went to bed at 10 p.m.

WHY DON'T YOU TELL US HOW YOU REALLY FEEL, AS IF ANYONE REALLY GIVES A $HIT

As for the Pacers, the only thing they did last night was trade their late 2nd round pick to the Knicks for cash.

Maybe someone in the local media can try to do a follow up soon on Bell and Odum to find out what their pro prospects are going into the fall, assuming they or their agents are willing to provide an update.
