WAVE TV: St. Pitino quotes:

" Lost faith in the NCAA"

"Over the top and inconceivable"

"We didn't deserve what they gave us"

Send "crying towels" to MARK JURICH, Senior Associate Athletic Director of Development, the son of A.D. Tom Jurich, who's getting paid $800,000/yr. from the LV Foundation.

I can't help but wonder about the age of all recruits involved. I didn't turn 18 until late November of my first semester at State. Well, what if???

All Louisville alums must be so proud.

It begs the question, if you can't get fired for providing hookers to high school kids, what can you get fired for in college basketball? I think we all know the answer to that.

I think Dan Dakich was spot on, if you are a youngcoach, go ahead and do whatever you want, because as long as it helps you win, you won't get fired if you get caught and the NCAA will only give you a slap on the wrist. There is little downside anymore.

Yep, as long as you don't lose or even win at a .500 clip, do as much bullshit as you can to win big and you'll most likely be rewarded handsomely for it.

The 10-yr. "Show Cause" penalty issued by the NCAA to Andre McGee is more than a "slap on the wrist," as his hopes of being a college coach are virtually destroyed. He was an Asst. to former ISU Asst. Kareem Richardson (HC @ UMKC) when story of U of L "prostitutes" used to "treat" HS on-campus recruits was released. McGee was essentially the "pimp" in this whole affair, while a member of Pitino's U of L Staff.

No NCAA school wants this hanging over their program, though I'm sure there will be some JC or NAIA program that'll ignore the whole thing & hire McGee.

That's the way the mob is designed. McGee was just a field soldier.

Curious WHY he took a position under Richardson after leaving LV...was the KC role an attempt to structure life in a more "righteous" pattern, or simply trying to kick a lil' "kitty litter" in an effort to coverup his LV personna? Was McGee using similar recruiting tactics in KC?

Isn't Kareem part of Pitino's family tree?
