NDSU takes the lead on a broken play touchdown... wow. That safety has to feel pretty bad right now.

NDSU kicker had a 50 yarder to end the 2nd half and he kicked it short and just got blasted for it by his coach. Made a funny sound coming off his foot.

ND State is just too solid. We know we are not very far from where they are. Kind of doubtful we can get to their level. But who would of thought where we would be 5 years ago.

I'm sorry......but WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE GET TO THAT LEVEL? That kind of mentality is what got our athletics in the place they were a few years ago.

Congrats to the Bison. Bohl signed a contract extension this week "to send a message to the current players and recruits" that he is very happy where he is. They are what the Sycamores should aspire to, and it could be done with the right level of commitment from the administration, coaches, players, and DONORS.

They have less competion then we do such as we have IU, PU, ND, and even the Colts. Where else in the Dakotas are you going to watch live football? Thus they have packed house week after week there. With not many other universities competing with them for state funds I would imagine thats how they got there dome along with S. Dakota. On top of that they can recruit all through out the state and all over with their budget. With big attandance and winning = more money in the program and helps with recruiting. Not to mention donors and sponsorship. How we went up there and won is amazing. I would say that is about a 1 and 10 time hapening. Could we win a championship? It is possible. Year after year like them very doubtful. They looked so solid today.

Sorry man, but that is wrong- headed, defeatist thinking. No reason we can't build our program to that level - or beyond.

It looks like they have 17 players from ND. I think they are competing with the same schools as us and many of the other MVC schools. We could be that good but we have a way to go. It will take more than just wins. We need to expand our fan base and booster support among other things.

They do it with GREAT coaching and a superb fan base. For what it is worth, we aren't necessarily that far away. The fan base is somewhat captive in the area and they take FULL advantage of that. Nice facilities and that loyal fan base come together hand in hand. I am proud of them as I was last year when they won and beating them makes me feel it CAN be done. It won't be easy but look what happened this year up there. The potential is there. As I have stated early and often on here this past season, we MUST figure out how to WIN the BIG game. Great win for the Bison, who ooze of class and character.

Hey nobody wants the program much more then me. I was not tryin to put us down I was just thinking in all reality. Can we really ever get the attendance and following that they have? We have too much competition for that, where they dont. We talk all the time about how to get attendance up. We are leaps and bounds of where we were before Miles came to town. I hope we can build it to that level. It would awesome to go to the new stadium and fill the place and win back to back championships.

What is so bad about it? I did not mean a put down for you. How do you do it then? I respect your program.

First off just pointing out that there are 9 state universities in ND that all get funds not just NDSU, there are lots of competing sports within 100 miles of Fargo there Are 9 colleges that play sports all ranging from NAIA, DIII,DII and DI, with 3 of them in Fargo-Moorhead alone

And we have the done because the city owns it and rents it to NDSU but it is on university land

Not to get in a pissing match or start an arguement but we have IU and PU along with the Colts within in 100 miles. Do the 9 colleges do as good or comparable to NDSU in attandance? Not to sound smart smart but just wondering.

How does the city owning NDSU work work?

Why would anyone here think we can't get there when we're the only team that beat them this year and we did it at their place? I'm baffled.

Congrats to the Bison. Nice feeling to know our win was the only loss you guys had.

You still have to recruit, coach, mentor the player and they have to have the ability to play, doesn't matter what team is down the road etc.....NDSU is a football school that competes with Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa st, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Northern Ill, Illinois, UNI, South Dakota, South Dakta St, University of NOrth Dakota, Kansas, kansas St, regularly. Tell me how we recruit any different than them based on competing market? If your coaches can't sell the product it as nothing to do with the amount of fans at the game, sure it can help but any schools have good teams with poor attendance look at SHSU, they are in the middle of a way bigger football base than ISU and they put together a good team

Your new coach needs to recruit and sell the winning attitude and that brings fans and support, What NDSU has going didn't just happen they built it from nothing to this over time starting winning it he 60's.
