Whats a wow?!? Lol I never once said we wouldn't get in the NIT. I argued we shouldn't play in anything but the NIT...

Like, you got people saying I don't think we will get in the NIT and I just didn't know where people were coming up with that stuff...

Seen it on tweeter and on here and was just not buying it...

What the hell? Find a post of mine when I said we wouldn't be in the NIT or were not worthy! Didn't utter the words once.

comments like that make you sound like a spoiled kid who has always got what he wanted. some times you have to have a plan b. nothing here was guaranteed.

I took your overall message to be that anything other than the NCAA tourney is a waste of time. Something about how if you didn't qualify as a runner for the premiere event you wouldn't bother going to something less. If I'm misunderstanding it let me know.

Had I come on here and once suggested we'd be left out then I'd go ahead and just let you say your peace.

Seeing as how I didn't do that I'm going to have to disagree with you.

In fact, a day ago Rick Simmler WTHI sports was have a convo on twitter with Tom James and commented that he thought we'd be left out.

I commented that he was no closer to the selection commitee than any of us to just wait and see what happens...

I'm sorry if that irritates you but I was just not in favor of playing in the Fjeicjej and wicienf tourneys and I refused to cave on that.

If my comment makes me sound like a spoiled kid who got everything I wanted then I guess so be it. Shame you don't know me and how I was raised.

If I could do half as good of a job with my kids one day as my parents did by me I'd be greatful. Really thankful for my parents and a comment about me sounding spoiled is as much an insult on me as my parents and I'm not havin in.

That's a bit harsh. I knew nothing was a guarantee, but I was fully expecting to be in the NIT field. Not sure if you call that cocky, "spoiled", or what but finishing 23-10 and 2nd to the only undefeated team in the country pretty much spells out an NIT berth.

No your not misunderstanding - your being fair.

In general I don't think that we should have 3 post season tourneys. However, given that the NIT has been around a long time and is the #2 option behind the BD then I am okay with that.

Bottom line, if we didn't make the NIT I didn't want us playing another game. Sorry if I never made that clear. I'm fine by the NIT.
