Any chance we have a shot with this kid???? I mean he will clearly be headed to a mid major.

Loyola Coach Fired

Jim Whitesell Loyola's men's basketball has been fired. Might be a good time to check on Joe Crisman of Munster, Indiana who was recruited by Whitesell to play at Loyola next year. Crisman one of Indiana's top All Stars.

There are a lot of fans in Dayton that would love to see him take it. Very tired of losing to Xavier and that team really underachieved this year.

Many also think they will be better of without Staten next year as well. Rumor is that veterans didn't like his belief that he didn't have to "earn his stripes" and expected to be the man as soon as he stepped on the court.

Article says he can't go to another Big Ten school or anyone that is on UM's schedule next year. I would think that a lot of program will not be interested due to the fact that he will only have one year of playing time left.

Crisman would have to be released from his LOI, no? He signed during early signing period so Loyola would have to let him go. He was at the Kladdis Classic when we played them... helluva shooter.
 
Lots of rumors on the Purdue forums that Matt Painter may be taking that Mizzou job seriously. Very interesting if true.

Richmond's head coach is also supposed to be interviewing for the Georgia Tech job as well.
