I saw that too. LolMaybe our best half of the tournament? And did Bledsons just walk out the Drexel door after that 3?
Excellent summary...THAT sums up their entire offense for the first half...those threes were the definition of WIDE OPEN.State shot 53% (16-30) from the floor, 30% (3-10) from 3 and 63% (5-8) from the line. Had 15 boards (3 offensive), 1 block, 1 steal, 8 assists and 3 turnovers.
Drexel shot 52% (13-25) from the floor, 44% (4-9) from 3 and 63% (5-8) from the line. Had 15 boards (2 offensive), 1 block, 2 steals, 4 assists and 4 turnovers.
Pretty much all of their offense came out of 1-on-1 play. Their big has been a complete non factor and had we not doubled down every time he touched the ball, we may be up double digits as it left a wide open shooter and they hit multiple 3s off that inside-out play.
Having said that, we need Cooper to be more of an offensive factor...just don't know if he can create his own shot.
