[November 29, 2024] Indiana State (3-3) vs Arkansas State (4-1)

Everyone is negative but I actually felt like we played relatively decent that half considering we missed quite a few bunnies at the rim and wide open 3s. We all know the roster is a year or so away but the guys were actually running the system pretty effectively. Lots of movement, cutting and passing that will work with more skilled talent.

Also, Arkansas State has a loaded MM roster.

I would take this level of effort and hustle all season.

Got to tighten up some defense and learn how to finish at the rim.

But this first half against USI would have led to a win

Seems like our top talent will transfer or graduate and we will have a mostly new roster year after year. I don't know how you have much success with this system that requires so much cohesiveness, corporate knowledge and chemistry. I truly hope you are right though.

Yeah, I understand the sentiment, but I've got a feeling that we're going to see turnover slow down as it looks like HMs will be doing multi-year setups. At least that is my hunch with how much complaining P5 coaches are doing surrounding recruiting.

All things considered, I feel much better after this game. Excellent second half. We missed so many open 3s and shots at the rim. You even hit on 30% of those, we may have walked away with the win.

Legree moving past Cook looks like the move, too. He had several nice spurts running the show.
